We provide a wide range of standardized and customizable bioreactors / fermentors for laboratory, pilot plants, production, research and university teaching. Typical fields of application are microbial and cell cultivation for the production of vaccines, therapeutic proteins, monoclonal antibodies, ingredients, enzymes and biomass. Our solutions include fermentors and bioreactors, autoclavable, steam in place and single use units with mechanic agitation, different automatization and process control grade, reactors and vessels.

The fully scalable BioLector® manages not only to run 48 cultivations in parallel, but also to perform real time online monitoring of the most common parameters (biomass, pH, DO and GFP). Furthermore, the system controls the temperature inside the cultivation chamber, the shaking speed as well as humidity. It operates with non-invasive, optical sensors and is due to the continuous and rigorous shaking ideally suited for aerobic and anaerobic cultures. In case that there is a high or very low oxygen level required, a CO2 enriched aeration, anaerobic conditions, or the possibility for measuring Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET), the system can be easily upgraded with additional modules.

The Biolector® Pro version extends the proven scalable BioLector® technology with an innovative microfluidic chip for extremely exact and slow dosing down to 50 nL. More info

This fully automated system combines a BioLector® with the precise and accurate liquid handling of a pipetting robot. The RoboLector® autonomously prepares media compositions from a full factorial design of experiments (DoE) and allows to add inducers and feed solutions during fermentation according to a pre-defined schedule or triggered by online process signals.
The RoboLector® L comes with a two-needle liquid-handling robot and 16 different deck positions on the worktable, whereas the more sophisticated RoboLector® XL provides 8-needles and 20 different deck positions. More info

The Solaris JUPITER Series is ideal for single or parallel use (up to 24 units) and complies with GMP. The control cabinet includes all the functions for parameters measurement and control such as intelligent sensors, wireless connection, easy load pumps and aeration module. It is suitable for microbial fermentation as well as animal, plant and insect cell cultivation. Typical applications include R&D, education, scale-up and scale-down studies, process development and optimization.

The autoclavable model VENUS features pressure control in the reactor (up to 2 bar). More info

Solaris BlackBox and BlackJar single use bioreactor systems are customizable with different impellers (up-flow, down-flow, axial, radial fluid circulation), various aeration methods (micro pore spargers, hole spargers, L-spargers, etc.), all common sensors (Single-Use-Sensor (SUS), liquid level / foam sensors, etc.) and temperature controlled liquid jacket. The functionalities are similar to conventional SIP bioreactors, but single use bioreactors have no risk of batch to batch cross contamination and lower validation costs for CIP and SIP. More info

The Solaris ELARA photobioreactors are available stirred and flat with turbidostat mode via cell density or radiation sensor. ELARA is ideal for phototrophic organisms such as moss, microalgae, bacteria and plant cells under optimum conditions. The light intensity is dimmable from 0-100% up to 3000 μmol(photon)/m2. The control panel can be checked remotely on your mobile device.

ELARA FLAT is a flat photobioreactor with a volume of 1.60 liters. Its main advantages are the asymmetric shape to prevent foam formation, the gas mixing through TMFC and solenoid valves, as well as more homogeneous light distribution. Moreover, all parts which are in contact with the culture are made of borosilicate glass or super duplex SAF 2507 which gives the reactor high resistance to salty water. More info

The Solaris GENESIS Series include SIP benchtop fermentors / bioreactors with automatic sterilization through electric heaters or steam. Other features include online measurement of cell growth (incl. cell density) by Hamilton sensors, different gas mixing strategies with up to 5 TMFC, SALAS (4 channels needle free additions system) and a powerful and accurate brushless motor. Various controllers and hardware configurations enable aeration strategies using air, oxygen, nitrogen or a mixture of these and allow for exact flow rate control. More info

KRONOS is a benchtop automatic Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) system which can handle up to 0.5 m2 total filtration area. It is available in three volumes (2L, 5L, 10L) and covers a wide range of applications such batch and fed batch ultrafiltration, microfiltration and diafiltration. Several types of membranes (hollow fiber, cassettes, ceramic, etc.) are available. As with all other Solaris bioreactors, KRONOS is equipped with Hamilton sensors and LEONARDO software. More info

Inoxpa
INOXPA offers automated and customized CIP/SIP units to guarantee a controlled cleaning and sterilization of all elements required (tanks, pipes, pumps) in a reliable, repetitive and verifiable manner, without having to disassemble the entire process plants. The sterilization of the process plants is carried out with steam supplied by a clean steam generator. Chemical sterilization is also possible. Models include, manually operated, fully automated and mobile CIP units. The complete SIP as well as CIP circle is monitored by a PLC unit that controls every stage of the process. More info
